Translation and Interpretation

GlobalTranslations, s.r.o. (formerly Comtrans, s.r.o.) was established in 2002. Our office is located at 14 Politických vězňů in Prague 1 (see map - Contact Info), from where we provide our clients with full translation and interpreting services covering all global languages. Our fully experienced and qualified translators cover a wide range of areas and specializations, and all our services are competitively priced, (see Quote request form).

We are here to comply with all your translation requirements; we will translate and return your order in the shortest possible time including express jobs (see Delivery Time), in any format you request (see Formats). Special graphics can be added or your translation can be authenticated and stamped by a certified translator (see Documents and papers with official certification). Editing of all texts by a qualified native speaker of the target language is guaranteed, as is pre-print editing and a check of the grammatical and stylistic accuracy of the translated text. 

We continually emphasize the need for comprehensive solutions in the areas of company documentation and communication. In cooperation with our <DTP studio>, we will fully prepare the pre-print version of your documents. We also prepare all technical documentation so that the graphics mirror the original quality (see Translations).

We use TRADOS and TRANSIT CAT software in our translations; programs which use a translation memory and therefore produce translations consistent in terminology. We listen to you, our clients, and use your specific company expressions and terminology for both one-off jobs and repeat business. CAT software is an invaluable aid for software and documentation localization. 

For larger projects requiring specific software solutions, we work with our partner, ADS CZ, s.r.o.   

Our service offer is complemented by various interpreting services (see Interpreting). Our translators and partners will be pleased to assist you with company presentations, trade negotiations, conferences, and any further activities requiring professional interpreting ranging from formal speeches to basic business and social conversation.
